Job Description

As the Senior Member Service Associate, you will be a key member of our bank's front-line team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of teller activities, providing exemplary customer service and overseeing daily transactions. Additionally, you will serve as a backup to the Supervisor, assisting in supervisory duties and maintaining operational efficiency in their absence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate teller activities, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy and security in all transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Assist the Supervisor in training and mentoring teller staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain records and reports of daily transactions and teller performance metrics.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise in teller operations.
  • Support the Supervisor in managing schedules, workflow, and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or business administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a teller or in a similar customer service role within a financial institution.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Proficiency with banking software and office applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
